Is Rush Limbaugh Losing Influence with Conservatives Or Perhaps He Never Had It In The First Place?

Do you he is gnashing his teeth at what’s happening in the Republican primaries?

Is Rush Limbaugh Losing Influence with Conservatives Or Perhaps He Never Had It In The First Place?
Before anyone gets too far off of the reservation, there are a few facts we need to know. The first is that there are three sides to almost everything in America. Even the Revolutionary war had three sides: the Patriots who wanted liberty, the Torries who wanted to stay with Britan and the rest who were busy going about their lives and paid little attention to political things.

Today it is the same way. The Republican party consists of Conservatives like Rush, the Establishment like Arlen Spector and the rest that will hop on whichever horse is winning at the time. When it comes to McCain, no real Conservative can possibly support his candidacy. He is the darling of the Establishment and the rest are piling on.

Another important fact is that the rules for this primary were made by the Establishment Republicans to favor their choice, Rudy Giuliani. That is why the early states were proportional or causused and Florida, New York, New Jersey and Conneticut were winner take all. Rudy was supposed to win Florida and grab a quick 57 delegates, then take New York's 101 delegates (his home state), New Jersey's 52 delegates and Conneticut's 27 delegates. When Rudy failed to win Florida and pulled out, he and his Establishment leaders decided to go with McCain.

You see, the Establishment Republicans are only concerned with winning elections, regardless of the policy the elected Republican will follow. That is a very large difference. The Conservatives are not about winning if it has no real meaning. Who cares which candidate wins the election if they both follow Liberal policies? In fact, Conservatives are quite sure that if any Democrat becomes President or John McCain or Huckabee the results will be disastorous for America. That being the case, it is far better if the Democrats are in power to take the blame.

Some things cannot be compromised. To do so is to render the resulting victory meaningless.

Reply:No, the Maja Rushi, El Rushbo is a genius.
Reply:We can only hope he fades away completely.
Reply:I think the media gives a little too much credence to the Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Sheehan, Coulter, etc. types.

I understand they are all apart of the media, but I mean the credit "analysts" give to them.

Its largely overblown and people are going to vote for how they feel and think is best.
Reply:I am gnashing enough for both of us! McCain does not have the conservative vote, only the moderate vote. His nomination will be the tool that gives the democrats the win in November
Reply:Any time i ever listened to Rush Limbaugh it was for entertainment and a laugh that's it.
Reply:He's got everybody talking about him today, which is what he does best. He's the master at cage-rattling and he's been riding it all the way to the bank for many years now.
Reply:Rush reminds me of a fat Pagliacci, funny

Reply:i think he only has influence over those who listen to him and those who cannot think for themselves and rely on an entertainment personality to feed their decisions.
Reply:I don't think he is losing influence among Conservatives. I think Conservatives are losing influence over the Repubican Party.

7+ years of "W" will do that!
