What if My Dentist Pulled a Permanent Tooth?!?

today (april 1st) i went to get a baby tooth pulled for lingual braces. i was numbed up and ready. but then the facial cosmetic dentist looked at my xray funny. that was because my primary dentist's secretary put the label on the xray backward so he almost pulled the wrong tooth! so then i had to get numbed on the other side. and that tooth was pulled. just to be positive, he took another xray and then proceeded to pull another tooth, right across from the one that was supposed to be pulled. what if he pulled the wrong one? what can i do? whenever i put my tongue to the space i dont feel the permanent tooth that is supposed to grow. will it grow in due time? help!

What if My Dentist Pulled a Permanent Tooth?!?
SOmetimes errors do occur, but there is a way that the dentist will work around it.
Reply:Call your dentist - right now - and ask what to do about the swollen gums. As far as him possibly pulling the wrong tooth - ask him about that as well. Beyond that - time will tell - or a second opinion from another dentist.
