Para Grass for my Rabbits?..?

our rabbit's teeth are growing and that makes him difficult to eat his food so we went to his vet to trim his tooth. then we ask what are available diet so help him trim his teeth while eating and since timothy hay is not that accessible in the Philippines the vet told us that we let him eat Para Grass instead..

Now my question is , is para grass good for our rabbits?

is there any danger if we let them eat it and set it as thier primary diet?..

Para Grass for my Rabbits?..?
Timothy hay (also called Bermuda grass) isn't all you should be feeding your rabbit as it's not nutritionally complete. I don't know what availability you have to certain types of feed in the Philippines. But if there's a farm %26amp; feed supply near you, ask their staff what they have to offer. I understand that even Purina makes a decent rabbit feed, but my family hasn't tried it yet.

Back to grasses. If Timothy is unavailable, try them on alfalfa. Our rabbits L-O-V-E it. Also, as an occasional treat maybe once a week, give him a little sweet grain.
Reply:nope but you should let your rabbit try a little bit and see if it likes it. If your rabbit likes it keep feeding it but also mix its diet with vegetables and other rabbit food. If it doesnt feed it vegetables
Reply:You could always order timothy hay online.

Reply:I am sure that your vet knows what he/she is doing, and you should trust the vet. The only thing you should not do have your rabbit vaccinated against rabies. A wise rabbit breeder told me that the rabies vaccine will kill rabbits. But a exotic or small animal specialist vet wouldn't do that.
Reply:my rabbit eats that all the time and its fine for them.
