Any dentists out there?? I have 2 chipped teeth and want know know how my dentist will fix them?

Im 13 and in Australia. My top 2 front teeth have chips in the bottom left corners, not that big, but pretty noticable when im talking to someone. They chipped when I was in primary school, when i was trying to open something and when I fell of the playground and hit my tooth on the wood. They are fully grown. I think one chipped a little more a few weeks ago, and I completely understand that, when there is something wrong, it needs to be fixed sooner rather than later, because it will just get worse. How will they be fixed. There is also a gap in between if it makes a difference. How much will this cost? Many thanks.

You have three options:

(1)Composite restorations (acrylic) to fix the chips and to close the diastima (space between the teeth). $

(2)Porcelain Veneers - a thin layer on the front surface of the tooth is removed and a porcelain veneer (jacket) is bonded to the teeth. You will have an impression taken - no temporary is needed while this is constructed. This is not a reversible procedure. $$

(3)Porcelain Veneer Crowns - a thin layer all around the tooth is removed - the dentist will then take an impression - have a crown constructed at the dental lab - when it is returned it will be cemented on the tooth. You will wear a temporary crown while the procelain crown is being constructed. This is not reversible. $$$
Reply:I had a root canal and since it was done improperly a huge peice of my tooth literally broke off. It was hidden when i spoke or smiled but i knew it was there. When your teeth arent smooth at the edges theyre much more susceptible to getting cavities and rotting. For a front tooth they might be able to grind it down(basically using a sander made for teeth) to be level. if its really bad like half gone you can get a denture or a peice of ceramic tooth cemented to it. make sure you get the right color to match though!
Reply:HELLO RIKKI,

THE MOST LIKELY WAY THIS WOULD BE DONE IS WITH TOOTH-COLORED COMPOSITE. SINCE YOU'RE 13 THIS IS WHAT I WOULD DO HERE IN THE STATES.
