How do toothless people eat?

I have come to the realization my teeth must go. Doc says they are the primary cause of my ear infections.

I cant afford dentures. I know Im going to look ridiculous but I dont have a choice. How will I eat?

How do toothless people eat?
Eat soft foods or food cut up in very small bites. You might have to give up some hard foods you love. I know someone with no teeth and that's how they eat. They have dentures but complain they are annoying to wear.
Reply:Everything goes into the blender and then you get to enjoy each meal through a straw. Or you eat applesauce, pudding, ice cream and jello type things for the rest of your life.
Reply:I have dentures but sometimes when I am alone I take them out. I can eat anything except corn on the cob. I just cut the food into small pieces.
Reply:your in a problem there, why not make due until you can afford dentures. Save up if you can.
Reply:you eat soft stuff-mashed potatoes, bananas,applesauce...and anything you can mush with your gums. if you want steak or something, you will have to puree it first.
Reply:Carve yourself wooden teeth like Washington did.
Reply:The toothless people eat very thin foods like soup or boiled noodles. Those are very easy to chew by in other case, people put artificial teeth and eat and when they sleep, they take off their teeth and brush it then go to sleep. It's the simplest way to chew you food! Good Luck,

Saahi

but im confused. how can teeth cause ear infections?

i think you should see a dentist or another doctor just in case.

most doctors are suprisingly stupid.

my doctor says not to take medication when seriously sick, but he would still prescribe it. hm.

but yeh, there are ways. i remember my grand dad having them hard weathers original sweets when he had no teeth at all. amazing stuff.

good luck anyway!
Reply:apple sauce, jello, chicken soup. i had stomach problems and had to eat soft foods. it wasn't cool. and soft ice cream helps too. save up for dentures.
