You need to be seen soon. I now that you can not afford it but you could have an abscess. Are you running a fever or anything?
Reply:i have also had this problem.......... get some mouthwash and rinse everr once in a while. or get a rag wet with warm water and bite on it.
Reply:ok, i'm assuming your tooth as began to cut the gum, if so, little particles of food get caught under the gum and can cause the infection and redness. Firstly rinse your mouth as much as possible with luke warm salty water, especially rinsing the left side of your mouth. You could even use a antibacterial mouthwash. Try and keep the area as clean as possible

Secondly if you feel like your gum is swollen or will maybe become swollen, place an ice pack on the outside of your cheek. Ice helps reduce the infection. Try and get to a general doctor, he or she will be about to pres. some antibiotics and painkillers. Then see your dentist as once. Wisdom teeth suck!
Reply:Go to a drug store and find some oral rinse. I am not sure what the situation is about your dental insurance, usually you can be seen in an emergency basis. Your last option is just go to ER ( county hospital) and ask the MD if he can prescribe you an antibiotic. You can take some motrin or ibuprofen (if you know you can take it) to lessen the swelling.
Reply:Take a couple of Excedrin and mouthwash and brush daily with HYDROGEN PEROXIDE as needed for pain.. It kills pain promptly and heals oral problems all most all types. I healed an infection I had at the base of a root. It really works.

I have used it for 40 years and have mediocre teeth but healthy gums.
