Ten years of Government and can you really say that this country is in a better state than when they took over? We now have American politicians referring to us as a "second tier country" and we are targets for every wanna-be terrorist going. We've got people pulling their own teeth out because they can't find an NHS dentist, the elderly and infirm dying in hospitals due unclean facilities despite the billions Labour have thrown at health (and wasted on administrators). We've got children leaving primary school who can't read or write, and feral youths running wild who think ASBOs are a badge of honour.





We've got prisoners being released early because we don't have enough places for them, and the ones who do get locked being handed pitiful sentences that don't reflect the seriousness of their crimes.





Billions wasted on ID cards. Billions wasted on unaccountable and unelected quangoes.

There are no socialists remaining in the labour party .Every now and again I hear humming sound, it took me sometime to workout what it was. Then I realised It was my grand father spinning in his grave. You see he was a founder member of the labour party, lost jobs for his trade union activity. for what for BLUE labour.





Just a word for the nurse it is true that the present labour government has put billions into the NHS. Question is "where it gone" Well a very good portion has gone into nurses and doctors pay packets. Much has gone into the pockets of administrators. many not capable of running a whelk stall. How many people work in the NHS is it five or six for evey bed. I am not surprised you don’t want talk about hospital acquired infections, they are infections past from hand to patient. This is not cleaners not doing their job properly, it is not about dirty floors This about doctors and nurses not washing their hands between patients. I expect you as a nurse to be aware of this. Gordon Brown promise to deep clean hospitals was bullshit, it was pap fed to the gullible voters, you as a nurse should know this and if you had any back bone you would be speaking up about this, shouting from the roof tops. Instead you remain silent while cleaners get the blame. Its a disgrace, what’s that I hear it old Nye Bevan turning at 30000 revs in his grave.





I can understand you voting for Blue Labour its their gesture politics, give nurses and doctors more money, the voters like it. Well this one voter who believes that there are more deserving. can you live on 4420 a year that’s what a OAP gets. Why aren’t you shouting about this, instead you put on an annual display of moral blackmail to get a pay rise How much are you on 20,25, 30 thousand a year. Now OAPs are frighten to go into hospital in case they catch an HAI. Do me a favour show a little more gratitude and display a little more humility

EDIT - Its an unbalanced arguement because you're quite obviously a conservative and you've listed a one sided arguement. If you had a labour party member Im sure they would list all the good things of the last ten years. For example - I am a nurse and have seen first hand the investment that has been put into the NHS in the last ten years, but Im sure you would be quicker to mention the negatives such as MRSA rates. There are two sides to the story. I have a bigger problem with what the conservatives did to this country in the 1980s.

I have heard people calling the Tories names on here but No way are we better off than we were before New Labour raised its ugly lying head. They are still wasting our money and trying to exert control even over what we eat and drink. It makes me so mad I could spit feathers. I cant wait to see the back of the lamebrains!! I just hope Cameron will do something to sort out the mess.
Reply:Apparently we should no longer eat red meat or drink red wine, nor should we eat bacon or ham, or consume even moderate ammounts of alcohol.

In great Yarmouth there are nine, year 8 children who can't be found school places. (Did I hear,Education, Education, Education??)





Even Jamie Olliver's improved school meals system, was too complicated for them to run.





It won't be too long before the Labour backbenchers decide that they have had enough of Self-Elected Brown.
