Is it unusual that my 14mo old (15mo on the 27th) has all 20 of his primary baby teeth?

He has every one.. all the way through. I'm wondering if I should start taking him to the dentist? He's had the last two in the back (second molars, I think?) for a couple of weeks, and that made twenty.

Here is a pic.. (he was screaming for my camera in it lol) You can see most of them, and the last two on the bottom weren't through completely..

I wouldn't stress too much. We took out boy to the dentist when he was younger regarding his teeth being late in falling out, and we were told that the longer the baby teeth are in 'his head' the better and stronger his adult teeth will be. Hope this helps.
Reply:He is soooooooo cute....lucky you...I do not think you should worry...everyone is different...
Reply:Hi my son is 15 months and he has all his too, so no eed to worry, all are different, you just need to brush more often as thet need to last longer! and yes they do recommend a dentist as soon as they have a few teeth, just to check they are all through properly

Reply:Its normal. My daughter did the same thing. I started taking her to the dentist when she was 1yr old. The dentist will not do xrays or anything but will look and perscribe flouride if you need it. Word of advise...I took my daughter to a family dentist and he was really rough with her. When we moved I found a pediatric dentist..kids only. My daughter begs me to go to the dentist now.
